What is AWANA?
AWANA is a kid’s program that meets each Wednesday night from 6-7:30pm (September-May). Each club includes three segments that provide a start-to-finish adventure in every club meeting!
 
– Game Time includes high-energy games featuring individual and team competition
 
– Handbook Time uses achievement-oriented, age-appropriate curriculum that emphasizes memorization and understanding of key Bible verses. Clubbers work toward earning special awards at the end of the Awana year in May.
 
– Lesson Time features singing, announcements of upcoming events, and a Bible lesson from God’s Word.

The Clubs

CUBBIES (PRESCHOOL)
Cubbies boosts preschoolers' faith with a 2-year curriculum of games, stories, puppet shows, and Bible teaching, plus home activities and tools.
SPARKS (K-2ND GRADE)
Sparks fuels kids' curiosity about the Bible with a 3-year curriculum for early elementary ages, featuring games, activities, teachings, and media for both kids and leaders.
T&T (3RD-6TH GRADE)
T&T delves into grace, God's character, Christ's identity, and the Bible's structure in a 4-year curriculum for upper elementary students, connecting kids and leaders through God's Word.
TREK (7TH-8TH)
Trek, a 3-year middle school curriculum, guides students in deep Scripture study, addressing tough identity and purpose questions with rich content, engaging activities, and practical life applications.

AWANA Fees

The average cost per child is $40/year. This cost covers their book, vest/shirt, and awards. You will be able to pay (cash/check/credit) at the check-in table on-site.

Scholarships for the '24-'25 AWANA Year

God has blessed our AWANA ministry to the point where we are able to give out several Scholarships each year. Receiving a Scholarship means that your child will receive financial help in order to attend our AWANA program at Orting Community Baptist Church. Your child can receive a partial scholarship (to be determined) or a full scholarship for the overall cost for the year. Please fill out the form below to start the application process.
